What's On The Bottle
As the pickers brought this fruit into the winery we knew it was bound for The Honour. It was our "old" shiraz, the fruit from our original bloack of vines that were planted in the late 1960s. Small berries with intense flavour and colour. Treated with absolute respect from the vineyard to the bottle the fruit didn't let us down and after an extended period of 30 months in French oak the wine is dignified and opulent, black cherry in colour with a full ripe palate. Trace of pepper and spices complement the velvety firm tannins.
