Timo Mayer has turned Tempranillo up to 11 here with this release, and it's a cracker.
Using fruits from the Gembrook Vineyard and putting them through his signature whole bunch fermentation, the rustic and earthy characters of this variety really shine. Savoury, herbaceous, yet plummy with a hint of olive tapenade.
It's everything you love about the variety but with the vibrance and energy turned right up. If you love this Spanish grape, do yourself a favour and get your hands on one of these while you can, it won't last long!
